Duwamps, the original name for Seattle.
This is www.duwamps.net and maybe someday it will do something or go somewhere more exciting. In the meantime here is a picture of what happened to the village of Duwamps which was renamed in honor of Chief Seattle in late 1852 and became official with the first platting of Seattle in 1853.
